Clean Eating: Slimming World - Food Diary - Day 4

This week I'm clean eating whilst following the Slimming World SP Plan: this allows me loads of S & P foods, plus 1 Healthy Extra A choice and 2 Healthy Extra B Choices and of course the usual 5-15 syns daily. 

Yesterday was pretty much the bog standard Monday, pottering around at home - completing a few shop orders, housework and general shopping. One thing I do love about working from home - you get to choose your own hours and take most of Monday off :) Especially when the sun is shining!!

I did have a MASSIVE workout session at bootcamp in the evening though - one thing I have noticed, my energy levels are through the roof - I think my body approves of this clean eating, low carb diet, hope it continues!

Also, I've noticed that I don't crave anything any longer - that's also another marvellous side effect.

So here we go, this is what I ate yesterday....


Breakfast: Porridge
35g Porridge Oats, cooked in water - HEXB
Strawberries
Apples
1 tbsp Pure Canadian Maple Syrup - 2 Syns

Lunch: Eggy Mushrooms 
2 x Portobello Mushrooms
2 x Eggs - Scrambled
30g Cheddar Cheese - HEXA
Spinach
Cherry Tomatoes
Spinach
Mixed Lettuce Leaves
1 tsp x Avocado Oil - 2 syns

Afternoon Snack:
2 x Satsumas


Dinner: Cauliflower Curry
Cauliflower
Chickpeas
Butter Beans
Passata
Red Onion
White Onion
Red Lentils
2 x Cloves Garlic
Chilli
Spices
Spinach
Courgette

Post Workout Energy Snack: Tomato & Egg Sarnie

60g Wholemeal Bread - HEXB
Dash of Balsamic Vinegar
Sea Salt

Black Coffee
Mineral Water - about 3 litres.

    1. Hey,
      HEXA (Healthy Extra 'A') is part of the Slimming World plan, it basically assures you have the correct amount of calcium in your daily diet. The book/website has various options for these.
      I believe cheddar is ok, as long as it's full fat - I used to buy the pre-grated ( Yep, I'm THAT lazy) type, but don't anymore because of the anti-caking coating used to stop the cheese sticking together. I grate my own now.

      I'm still new to this, so please someone correct me if I'm wrong! I also use Feta and sometimes Halloumi - Nom :)
