Santoro London Giveaway.....

santoro 1-

When the lovely Santoro of London emailed me asking if I'd review some of their products on my blog, I knew I'd vaguely heard of them, and I was sure I'd seen their designs somewhere before whilst out and about. But I couldn't make the connection between design and brand name.

After spending...oh, I don't know.....a good few hours swooning over their website; admiring all the pretty bags and notebooks, I fell in love with the adrift girl from the Mirabelle range, among many others on there.

These designs are how I wish, I could draw and illustrate......and, the adrift girl has pretty pink hair!! A win/win with me!

Obviously, I'm so excited to write about Santoro here on Dear Thirty. As with all sponsored posts here; I try my hardest to get a giveaway for you guys too - yes, you're welcome ;)

So, lets get stuck into the products:

Wrapped up in beautiful Santoro paper came these lovely items:

The Adrift Notebook - I am literally a sucker for a pretty notebook. I can spend hours sourcing out a new one. I am of the opinion that: The nicer the notebook, the more creative the words and ideas - well, this is my excuse anyway ;) and this notebook really lives up to my 'pretty notebook' expectations. I could look at the illustration for hours - yep, that makes me sound like a weirdo doesn't it?!

The Adrift Cosmetic Bag - I can't find the link for this one, but there are similar ones on the website.
Now, this is a very decent sized Makeup bag. I could probably fit my entire collection, zipped up safely in there. At the same time it can be folded over to create a smaller, easier to pack bag. Nifty! All of the Santoro bags are hand finished - and to a high standard too. I'm going to take this bag away with me this weekend :)

If Only Travel Card Holder - I read somewhere that this is ideal for oyster cards. I'm not sure if this will swipe whilst still in the holder, I'll have to check next time I'm in the city! But once again, the design is second-to-none.

Willow Pocket Mirror and Pouch - This is where Santoro really excels. The Compact is rather slim, with a beautiful antique gold look casing. Even the detailing on the reverse of this compact is thought about thoroughly, with the Santoro logo beautiful etched in; even the casing has little scratches that have been added for that preowned, authentic vintage feel.

If Only Lip Balm in Watermelon - Whenever I'm not wearing lipstick, I am always wearing lip balm. I have way too many of them: A couple in my bag, one next to my bed and one or two that lurk on the coffee table.

The Santoro lip balm, is as expected; beautifully packaged and designed; the product itself is easy to apply using your fingers - and some lip balms can be too firm to apply, not this one though. The watermelon fragrance is authentic and it remains smooth on the lips for quite some time.
However, I will keep this one on my coffee table....for two reasons: One, It's pretty enough to leave laying around on display. Two, It's a little too big for me to carry in my bag, also I would be worried about the lid coming free -  it's quite loose - then there would be all those little bits of bag fluff in it - not good!

As with all the Santoro products; their designs follow the same theme - one of distinct luxury. The muted colour palette and the alluring illustrations gives credit to Santoro as a superior brand.

The brand reminds me of one of my most favourite local artists Natasha Newton who I wrote about here.

They also sent me this gorgeous pop up card from their collection, with a lovely note written on the back saying they thought I'd like it, because of my love of vintage teacups - how thoughtfully delightful! The card also wobbles when it is rocked - it's a card for keeps!
