Hello, Good Evening.......Welcome to my first weigh-in.
Seeing as I officially weigh in at my Slimming World group every Thursday evening - I figure that I would record my losses / gains (eeeek!) here, on my blog every Friday! Recording measurements (ie: with the tape measure) are probably best done once a month; I'll also post these on a Friday too, monthly of course.
and.......I suppose, seeing as I'm laying my life bare on the internet for all and sundry, I'll dive head first with before and after pictures. Eeeek......Double Eeeek!
Ok, so here are a few facts about me:
I'm 35, I have 3 children - I am a UK size 10-12, my bra size is currently a 34C, earlier this year I was a B cup, so I'm super happy with the increase :) Let's hope my boobage stays - finger's crossed! I am also rather petite at only 5 foot nothing.
I'm classing Friday 27th June as my' day 1' of my weightloss journey and all measurements/weight-ins for this blog are from Thursday evenings - at home, just before going to my official SW weigh-in. My scales are always pretty spot on with the SW ones!
Technically - before 27th June - I've already lost 5lbs.
I go to a bootcamp intense workout twice a week, on a Monday and Thursday in the evenings. I also try to get in a few runs during the week - I also try and do a few situps, pushups, squats etc when I get a chance.

So, here we go.......Starting Measurements taken on 27th June 2015!
Starting Measurements:
Bust: 36"
Waist: 29.5"
Hips: 39"
Starting weight: 9 ST 11 - rounded up to the nearest 1/2 pound.
Now seeing as my BMI is slightly higher than it should be for my height (around 27) - remember, I'm only 5 feet tall - I'm technically, clinically in need of losing some weight and some readers here might wonder why I'm bothering to lose any weight at all; others will think I'm a massive fat blob of a person, gross and disgusting and should immediately hit the gym is disgrace! either way.....I'm fine with that - and honestly, I do have a rather impressive arse, it must be said! However, I don't see myself as 'fat' or as 'overweight', I consider myself normal, and curvy........and after all, the most important thing when losing weight is to feel comfortable, confident and happy in oneself; and above all, be healthy!
I don't want to become a stick thin, bony shadow of my former self - my intentions are simple, shallow even perhaps: I just really, really, REALLY want to be able to fit nicely into all my vintage dresses again!
You only get one body in this lifetime, love it and treat it well.
