Clean Eating: Slimming World - Food Diary - Day 9



This week I'm clean eating whilst following the Slimming World 'SP' Plan: this allows me loads of S & P foods, plus 1 Healthy Extra A choice and 2 Healthy Extra B Choices and of course, the usual 5-15 syns daily. I may also incorporate some non S or P foods into my meals the week.

I think we may well be having the hottest summer for a very long time here in the UK, I can't complain of course; I love it when the seasons do what they're supposed to do - maybe we'll get a bitter cold winter this year too?! 
Yesterday was spent avoiding the worst of the heat, with a quick trip into town to pick up a few essentials.........not to mention a few bags of fruit and veggies too..... :) I cooked a yummy sweet potato dinner ( I was looking forward to that) and then we had a late evening dog walk in the cooler summer air. Lovely - aside from the Billy Witches that is! 

So, here's what I ate yesterday...... I'm trying to be a the higher end of my syn allowance this week too; we'll see how my weight loss is affected!


Breakfast:
35g Porridge Oats - HEXB
Strawberries
Raspberries
1 tbsp Onken Natural Yogurt - 1 Syn
1 tbsp Pure Canadian Maple Syrup - 2 Syns 1



Snack: 
Apple


Lunch: Pea and Mint Soup
Peas
Fresh Mint
White Onion
Garlic
60g Wholemeal Bread - HEXB
10g Salted Butter - 3.5 Syns

Snack:
Satsuma



Dinner: Curry
Chicken Breast
Red Lentils
Passata
Red Onion
White Onion
Chilli
Chickpeas
Coriander
Ginger
Mixed Spices
Garlic
1/2 tsp Coconut Oil - 1 Syn
Sweet Potato - NOT Speed food, but ok occasionally
Asparagus
1 x tbsp Onken Natural Yogurt - 1 Syn

Snacks:
Satsuma
Fair Trade 75% Dark Chocolate - 4 Syns



Drinks:
Mineral Water with Freshly Cut Lemon and Limes
Coffee
175ml Whole Milk - Cold with lashings of ice (Nom!) - HEXA



TOTALS:
Daily Syns: 12.5
Fitbit Steps: 12,726
Exercise: Too hot, so didn't get my run!
