Clean Eating: Slimming World - Food Diary - Day 18

18

This week I'm clean eating whilst following the Slimming World 'SP' Plan*: this allows me loads of S & P foods, plus 1 Healthy Extra A choice and 2 Healthy Extra B Choices and of course, the usual 5-15 syns daily. I may also incorporate some non S or P (Speed or Protein ) foods into my meals this week.


So several things have happened to me this weekend, mostly cleaning and doing mundane, yet necessary people things. I also like to prep some food on a Sunday for the week ahead - not every Sunday of course, just some; as you know, I'm not all that organised! So, there I am preparing some food, zapping my already oven roasted peppers and tomatoes - yep I'm making soup here- in my not-very-old, not-much-used blender, when half-way-to-smooth consistency the bloody glass jug cracks from bottom to top, but only on the outside it seems......so, quickly (after muttering a few unmentionables to myself and my blender) I transfer my lumpy excuse-for-a-soup to my much newer, food processor. Now, my food processor performs most excellently whilst chopping nuts, or stale bread.......but I now know that liquid foods do not process well, at least not in mine anyway - they kinda leak and burn your hands a little.

So this week I need to invest in another new blender, this will be my third one - obviously, I don't have much luck with them if I'm honest. Any recommendations are more than welcome :)


With all that aside, I have slightly lumpy soup this week for lunch - I don't mind too much.....anyway, here's what I ate yesterday......



Breakfast: Fruit
Grapes
Raspberries
Blackcurrants

Lunch: Mediterranean Soup (Homemade)
Yellow Pepper
Orange Pepper
Red Onion
Tomatoes
Sweet Red Peppers
Butternut Squash
Garlic
Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
Basil
Sea Salt & Pepper
60g Wholemeal Bread - HEXB
10g Salted Butter - 3.5 Syns

Snack:
1 x Rice Cake - 1.5 Syns
2 x Satsumas
1 x Pear

Dinner:
Chicken Breast
Whole Wheat Pasta
Curly Kale
Mushrooms
Garlic
1 x Poached Egg
45g Feta Cheese - HEXA
3

Snack:
Satsuma
Apple

Drinks:
Mineral Water
Fruit Tea



TOTALS:
Daily Syns: 7.5
Fitbit Steps: 12,100
Exercise: 60 (Killer Intense) minutes of Bootcamp
