
This week I'm clean eating whilst following the Slimming World 'SP' Plan*: this allows me loads of S & P foods, plus 1 Healthy Extra A choice and 2 Healthy Extra B Choices and of course, the usual 5-15 syns daily. I may also incorporate some non S or P (Speed or Protein ) foods into my meals this week.
Last night I had my weigh in, and I've come to the conclusion that my metabolism is sooooo slow.....I mean, probably not thee slowest in the world - but it certainly feels like it's working against me.
I have to remind myself that although I work my butt off at bootcamp and eat brilliantly I will never have those BIG losses......I'll also never get 'slimmer of the week' either - BUT.........I am doing the best for my body and metabolism; I'm feeding it with the cleanest fuel it could wish for.
Yes...I'm losing weight, but I believe that's only because I'm following the Slimming World SP plan, so my carbs are really limited. When I was eating on the normal extra easy plan I didn't really lose weight very quickly - it took me 3 months to lose 5lbs and I was frustrated. When I ate clean for a week.....ignoring the slimming world plan and listening to my body: I gained 1/2 lb!
Also, and equally as frustrating, I know people in my Slimming World group who'll eat an SP week and lose 4-7lbs on their next weigh in. But that is their journey and we're all reaching for the same destination aren't we?
The Bottom line is: I'm losing weight; I'm becoming fit and healthy whilst eating clean and working out regularly - I'm feeling so much better......and I'm loving my loses :)

Breakfast: Porridge
35g Porridge Oats Cooked in Water - HEXB
Strawberries
1 tbsp Pure Canadian Maple Syrup - 2 Syns

45g Feta Cheese - HEXA
1 tbsp Avocado Oil - 2 Syns
Dinner: Chicken Curry with Cauliflower Rice
Chicken Breast
Passata
Red Onion
Yellow Peppers
Coconut Oil - 1 tsp (divided by 4 people) 1/4 Syn
Spices and Herbs
Cauliflower
Spinach
Mixed Salad Leaves
I tbsp Fat Free Onken Natural Yogurt

A few Strawberries dipped in dark chocolate

Hard to syn, but I'll say 5 because I didn't have a lot. 5 Syns
