Marilyn Monroe Adored Chanel No5 - and so do I.....

I've always loved Chanel No5.
Ever since my mum showed me her well kept, vintage bottle of Chanel No5 (from the 50's I think...) when I was a kid. I knew that one day I would have to have a bottle all of my own. The smell, was exquisite, timeless. The scent? Expensive but so, so pretty. I remember the day I fell in love with Chanel like it was yesterday. My mum, still owns that original bottle of Chanel which, as far as I know - she never uses. I will have to dig it out to photograph some day.

Since then, I have owned three bottles of Chanel No5. It's the scent that Marilyn Monroe wore to bed every night, it's the scent that I use only on special occasions; or when I'm feeling low and need a pick-me-up. I can not afford to be frivolous with this perfume.

Gav surprised me with a new bottle for Christmas (Yay me!!) - as my last bottle only had a teeny bit left ( a few squirts maximum) and I'd been saving those last few precious drops for months and months. I just couldn't bear the thought of not having any at all.

Very happy with my new bottle -There's lot's more special memories to make in 2014 and I'll be doing it in Chanel :)
