A few weeks ago I blogged about this lovely vintage dress which I found whilst thrifty shopping in Felixstowe. It's perfect for the summer months, and even more importantly, works so well in the winter ones too. I love a good pencil skirt or dress in the winter, it just feels more appropriate, and of course, less draughty.
I pulled out my old leather boots from the dark depths of the over flowing shoe cupboard and found that they work so perfectly.
.......and teamed it with a short cardigan (cropped would have been preferable, need more of these) and I am good for bracing the cooler winds.
This dress also came with a matching belt, which has a velvet back........therefore, I felt the velvet side looked better contrasted against the pretty floral pattern.
I love it when a dress can become versatile through the ever changing seasons. Is there a dress or skirt that you wear year in, year out?
