You may have seen on my instagram recently, the girls and I have been messing around with Halloween makeup, we had such fun.
It's now less than a week until the big 'Trick or Treat' event; every year the girls tend to want more creative, over-the-top costumes, and of course, what's a Halloween costume without complex makeup?
I decided this year to add a few Halloween items around the house to add a sense of autumnal Halloween-ish, atmosphere. I didn't go over board or anything though, not this time. I remember a few years back, Gav and I would have massive Halloween house parties: we'd put cobwebs everywhere, change light bulbs to red, green, blue or whatever colour we could get our hands on. We'd make creepy looking punch and play Halloween sound effects around the house with strategically placed cd players. Of course the outfits were glamorous too. It would take us a whole Saturday to get ourselves and the house ready - I kinda don't have the energy for that these days. Apart from our yearly 'Trick or Treating' venture in the neighborhood, I'm perfectly happy to watch a few horror films with a cup of tea.
I'll be dressing in my usual skeleton outfit for the 'Trick or Treat'. It's a boys outfit and because I'm only 5ft, I can get away with cartwheeling the streets and looking relatively normal (I hope anyway) One advantage to being tiny I guess hehe! :)
