Shoes, (well at least for me) are a funny thing! When I say funny, I don't mean 'funny Haha' (although there are some 'Haha' shoes out there.......I posted about some once and if your curious at all, you can find the post here :D) I mean, funny in the respect that I am fussy about shoes.
I seldom get excited at the prospect of shoe shopping, I know its a rare thing to stumble upon a pair that I fall in love with. In fact, on reflection......I'm pretty fussy about all types of accessories - they have to sing me a little tune from across the shop to make me adore them.
But anyway, I'm sliding slightly off topic! Shoes! Well, shoes?..........I tend to stick to the same pairs, some I often end up wearing them everyday until they literally are walking themselves to the bin. Then I the panic sets in, 'What will I wear now?'.......this also happens to me every change in season - I get comfy in wedges/sandals in the summer months, then the cold weather comes and I have to root through my many shoes (and I actually have about one hundred) (most, of which I don't really wear) in search for the next auspicious pair to be worn down!
Anyone else do this? What are your everyday comfy shoes?
Years ago when ballet flats started emerging in stores I saw them and just knew that was my shoe. I wear practically nothing but ballet flats. I have plain ones for every day and sparkly ones for more dressy events. It probably seems very boring, but I love my ballet flats, and now I feel weird wearing anything else.
