Retro Swimwear in a Stylish Vintage Vanity Case.......

It's now less than a month until I'm off on my Holiday - yay!! - I plan to do much sightseeing and plenty of sunning myself to achieve a healthy glow (I'm hopeful)........

I'm taking this cute little vanity case which I recently picked up for £3.99 - what a bargain, did I say that thrifting is one of my favourite things?

Crammed in it are my lovely bathing suits and bikinis - I love all these prints and don't they look fabulous when next to each other? 

The Cherry suit on the left is from For Luna, the other two are vintage.....

I love this swim hat too - although I don't much like putting it on, it's thick rubber material pulls on the hair so badly and really hurts to put on and take off........looks fabulous though right? It was my Nan's, she gave it to me a couple of year ago along with the black and white patterned swimsuit pictured above. 

I wish this swim hat was practical and that we lived in a more acceptably glamorous world - truly...... however I also wish that birds where like the cartoon characters from Cinderella and I had a money tree growing in the garden of my perfectly formed cottage (the one from the last Twilight film would do nicely) and for good measures the sky was a pale pink all day long...............

......... although I think I would be taking 'vintage living' to the extreme if I did wear it out in the public eye - I'd get some funny looks, but at least I would look fabulous :)

I'm not entirely sure what I am doing here or in fact what I was trying to achieve......but the swim suit matches my nail varnish and of course - my eyes! 

Oh and please pretend you didn't notice the washing airer in the background - no outdoor drying in this glorious British weather, well not yet anyway.......
