A Little Flutter and Lovely Treats with Naked Makeup!

decay1

A few weeks ago, I placed a little flutter, a bet - my first, and probably my last - online with odds of 25/1 to win. Not that I pretend to understand betting and odds at all, because I don't, not really. The bet was placed with a mere "feeling" in the depths of my stomach......any how - I won!!
So, after I happily claimed my winnings, I decided to treat myself to some Urban Decay makeup.

I'd had my eye on the naked palettes for quite some time, but could never quite justify the £37 price tag. Now I had some spare cash to spend, it felt like free makeup :)

So, I ordered the Urban Decay Naked 2 and 3 palettes......and I have to confess: I have never felt so wonderful wearing, even applying this eye shadow. I know that sounds dramatic - perhaps it is - but my favourite of the two palettes right now has to be the third. Perhaps it's the beautiful pinky tones and the way I can get stunning blended subtle/dramatic shades; or perhaps it's because my hair is a pink colour right now and they compliment each other?!

I actually look forward to playing with different combinations every morning whilst applying my makeup. Yep, I think I may have lost the plot somewhat - after all: It's only eye shadow for goodness sake!

You cannot be frugal or stingy when it comes to makeup, what you save buying vintage clothing - spend on lovely makeup items that make you feel wonderful everyday!

I'm not sure whether to buy the naked 1 palette eventually - what are your thoughts?
