Cobalt blue is fast becoming a prominent colour in my wardrobe of late. With it's vibrancy, yet calming effects, who wouldn't love a bit of this to brighten up your lives?!
This vintage dress I picked up a couple of months back for less than £5 in one of our local charity shops in town. It fits exceptionally well and has beautiful beading and sequining on the shoulders - which I somehow completely forgot to photograph! I've worn it quite a few times, as it's one of those dresses that can be dressed up, or dressed down - my sorta dress!

My vanity case, I bought last year from yet another charity shop for a stupidly low price.....unfortunately the handle broke off whilst I was on holiday last summer; there was too much dragging to-and-fro I think. Luckily I had a ribbon to hand to create a makeshift handle, and I've since never replaced it.

The belt, is from another vintage dress I have in my wardrobe (which I thought I'd worn on the blog before, however, I can't find the post); I'll have to show it on the blog soon.
The shoes are from New Look about 10 years ago - I have wayyy too many shoes and I really need to implement a "Wear it or Get Rid" policy with them I think - otherwise I fear the whole family may suffocate in a sea of them or something!
Hope you had a lovely, productive, lazy or at least restful weekend? It's so cold here in the UK right now, back to the winter coats - at least for now anyway!

That blue looks amazing on you! Love how you paired it with yellow pumps. And I wouldn’t change that ribbon handle. It is so sweet:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kari, I quite like it too - besides, I'm not entirely sure how else to fix it!
DeleteYour vintage dress is such a beautiful find and such a good price! The yellow pumps are perfect with it!
