I've recently found some lovely vintage bargains whilst out thrifting my local charity shops (which I will show on the blog over the coming weeks). I've recently adopted the notion that, I, should be more picky with my purchases - because, quite frankly; it is all too easy to become overcrowded with bargain purchases, then you can't swing a cat, so to speak. I know, it has happened to me - not the cat swinging part (obviously), but certainly the inability to move around rooms freely!
However, I had to bring this lovely little vintage scrabble game home - It talked to me, told me to, I promise! ;) I love it's kitschy, vibrant persona for one thing - also, there are two identical boards in the box. I don't know too much about vintage scrabble to know whether 2 boards is right, so if anyone knows about this please let me know.
But anyway, I just love the way it makes me feel: happy and excited. My heart does this little fluttery thing when I look at it......and when bought for under £3 - it truly becomes a thrifting bargain.

Brings back memories. A great find.
