Here are a few pictures from last Saturday on our drive back from Norwich, it had been a particularly dull, rainy kinda day - pretty normal for this time of year in the east of England. We drove back following the instructions voiced abruptly via the sat nav, which, in turn took us on the most scenic route, through small villages and rural country roads. The rain: light, misty and sporadic (and as usual, starting up again when away from shelter). The kind of rain that frizzes hair, leaving it looking somewhat like Worzle Gummidge (for those too young to remember such crazy nostalgia - here's a clip) and there's nothing to be done, except to wash and re-style later-on. Oh yes, the great British weather, what would we do without you?
One thing I will say about the rain: it keeps the fields and meadows plush, green and vibrant.

Well, this one is the picture we all what to capture, right? The Chicken, crossing the road..........well - mwahaha, now I have achieve my life ambition as a photographer. Which of course, prompts me to tell a joke (which, I'm completely shockingly bad at) (but, whatever, once more - for nostalgia's sake).
"Why did the chicken cross the road?"
'It got tired of waiting' - See!! I told you I was bad :)
Please feel free to tell me if you have any better chicken jokes..... hehe!

An actual chicken crossing the road! haha x
