Every girl loves to shop, most girls like to buy a new lipstick, and I? Well, I love Mac. More specifically Mac Lipstick
If you live in Ipswich (which I know most of you don't - the lucky ones) you may have noticed a lack of quality make up with the likes of: Mac, Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier among many, that are out of our physical reach. Of course, I could order online, and I do. However, it's difficult to judge the colour and texture of a particular lipstick or powder using a sample palette on a computer screen.
On Saturday, I actually managed to get to a Mac Cosmetics Makeup store whilst visiting Norwich. It would seem a shame not to buy a new lipstick whilst I was there; and what better for winter than a deep classic red colour?
This particular one is called Chili and is creamy in a matt texture, but not quite a matt as my Mac Lady Danger if that makes sense? However I quite like the ease of application with this product, it seems easier to apply and appears to last longer than most lipsticks without the need for a touch-up.
It's all so glamorous and vintage in colour, perfect for red hair too - excellent for day and by night!
Do you have a staple lipstick that you couldn't live without?
Ohh I shall go and check the colour out, I use Ruby Woo but unfortunately it go's dry and powdery on me which is disappointing.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried the Ruby Woo before, but it is on my list of Mac lipsticks to own :)
DeleteI wish I had a staple lipstick, I am still on the seemingly endless quest to find my perfect one. I might have to check out the one above, who knows it could work for me too :)
ReplyDeleteas a vibrant red, you would think it to be 'overwhelming' as a day colour, but it really isn't - I use Bobbi Brown in Salmon as my everyday go to :)
