A Turban Scarf and a Little Glamorous Glamour......

Scarves are such a handy thing to own........and as you probably know, I have absolutely loads..... some I've picked up from thrifting shops and fairs. Others have been handed down from relatives. This is the best thing, once relatives realise that you love 'old stuff' - they bring it to you in vast amounts - and this, quite often than not - makes us both smile :)

This scarf was given to me by my mother-in-law a couple of years back.......the brooch, my Mum gave to me when I was a teenager and the white button-backed top was a thrift shop find.

I usually only turban up my hair when I'm protecting my pin curls or at the beach, but I think I will be doing this more in the autumn as part of an outfit. What do you think? Are turban scarves glamorous?

I love the button detail on the back of this top, but it's pretty hard to stretch around to do up.......takes me a while!
