Bonjourno....... from Civitavecchia, Italy travelling south on our way to Rome!
As you probably already know, yesterday we went to Pisa and Florence, I feel knacked, exhausted this morning and I need about 20 extra stong coffees to kick start my day - ugh, there's no time - still I shall enjoy what Rome has to offer :)
Here are my pictures from yesterday - I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I didn't like Florence much, many would diss me for saying this I'm sure, but it just wasn't for me......which, is disappointing, mainly because of the beautiful churches and buildings, but more simply because I've wanted to visit Florence for quite a years now (ie. Most of my adult life) and I was so excited. It was the people (probably local folk) that were practically stopping you getting off the coach by shoving their illegal goods in front of you......they don't take no for an answer - now I understand that people need toake a living, but they just don't let off! Oh, and a crazy old gypsy woman tried to curse my mum after she refused to give her money! A pretty place in which we well and truely saw the ugly side.
Oh well, it was an experience and I think I am more prepared for Rome..........wish me luck haha x

Oh what a shame to read that about Florence. I've always wanted to visit there too. Still it looks like you are having a wonderful time and I'm loving your pictures. x
