60's Inspired Makeup.......

Morning folks, hope you all had an awesome Sunday, I pretty much had the laziest ever - the weather has been so uninspiring recently.......and I am feeling so cold today.....

I've spent some time researching makeup techniques recently and I thought I'd give this one a go from the 60's - can you guess who I used for my inspiration here?

I wanted to put on some false eye lashes, but I have run out - so I just used plenty of mascara.....

For my lips I used a hot pink liner (asda's own) and Bobbi Brown lipstick in Salmon, which I blended together. I like the contrast it creates here...

I want to try the Biba 30s/60s look next (Kate Moss did it and you can hardly recognise here) - thanks to Ana from Where the Roses Go who pointed me in the right direction. I think I will do that later this week.......I have an image of major fluffy hair for this style, which I know I can achieve from wet pin-curling, which I can achieve by planning!
A Plan! The plan is in action.....

If there are any other looks you think I should try, please let me know.......I'd love to hear your thoughts :)

I'm off to put a jumper on......... x

  1. It looks really good, can't wait to see how the Biba inspired make up is going to look like! I'm glad I could help somehow! Kate Moss as a Biba Girl is so Ingrid Boulting, she looks brilliant xxx
