Birthdays, Being Crazy Busy and Vintage Sunglasses..........

Hello :)
Well......You write a post one day and then before you know it a whole entire week has passed you by in a flash - wow, seriously.....how did that happen? I honestly don't feel like I've stopped since last Tuesday. 
What have I been doing? Well.......I've had 2 birthdays.....involving making family meals and birthday cakes; Gav and my son whom which have a birthday one week apart, makes things slightly crazy....... My son kindly requested a tank cake - yep, an actual army tank cake - nothing crazy, difficult or anything thank-you-very-much!!
All of last week I was working on and reworking a song that Tash had written for a friend's wedding; working out guitar chords, vocal harmonies etc, etc..........then just to add extra work to my load - I decided to recorded it on Pro tools. I wanted her to have a memento of the song on CD. It was totally worth it, because she loved, LOVED the song - Yay! 
Tash and I then performed the song live in front of 30-odd girlies at the hen weekend.  In between all of that, I've been doing a lot of ebay Photographing/listing/shipping for work - we don't have internet there at all, so you can imagine what a task that one is proving to be! Hmmmmm.....
Finally - once the man comes tomorrow to fix our dodgy boiler - I see a window of opportunity to catch up with some bloggy bits and pieces on Friday. 
Oh, I've got my UK Blog Awards tickets too (cannot wait for this event!!!!).
Yep, it's been a crazy couple of weeks, but I'm so looking forward to that open window of blog stuff :)
